My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

That's the program for making the Electric Sheep for the screensaver by the same name. I couldn't figure it out either. Looks cool though!

Apo is a wonderful program, my wife just recently started learning it and is making really amazing images already. This one is a great start, if you have any questions feel free to ask. You might find APO 2.09 or 7X easier to use, they are all free downloads, 7X is specicially made for computers with windows 7 as their operating system. 2.09 is or even 2.08 3D Hack is another excellent version

You will soon get addicted to the fractal thing and will never have enough time to do what you want to, at least this is what I find. I find I am always trying to find the perfect fractal!!! Enjoy your retirement.

This is a fun program to work with! Wait till you get MB3D.... Very nice work

Supplication.....isn't that akin to genuflecting? Cool nascent image here. I'm always promising myself that I'm going to experiment with Apophysis, in particular, and fractal, in general. So far, just empty thoughts, chimeras, and whims. And, I'm happy you have a plethora of leisure time, because I'm also retired, and relatively busy with everything necessary for everyday living, including countless, depressing, doctor visits and tests.

what fun to retire more time for the laughs and the smiles that go with wonderful work warm hugs, Linda Kaye

I know you like swoopy things and obviously this is FULL of swoopy things! Well done! Now you can add APO to photography, painting and writing. That'll keep you busy no matter where we are:) Have fun...

OK - I see a whole new universe opening up for you, and I can't wait to see what you come up with, Tara! I've got to warn you, though.... That bloody little thing is addicting as hell! I my case, if I open up Apo and start playing, I'm worthless for the rest of the day...... Another couple of wonderful fractal day-killers are Mandelbulb 3D and Incendia. Anyway, you have a great start here, and I can pretty much guarantee we're all in for a delightful ride with your eye for composition!

Welcome to the world of fractals ..now state your name and and take a seat with the rest of us addicts...This is a 12 step program with plenty of folks screaming DENIAL!!!!!....rofl....

Wonderful composition! :)

WOW! You can do fractals for free? WOW! I love the idea of branching out as you've done, and I love your foray into Fractalworld! The colors in this are amazing and I love the patterns. Really superb. It's funny, I'm in an onion-ish frame of mind...must be from all of those visits to Ůtef and hanging out with that beefy guy Hej and his bewilderingly complex family...but anyway, I digress. That's a common occurrence with me, you know, especially since this is a gorgeous render with a nice bit of onion coloration in it. I can't wait to see what else you come up with.
