Description

Another shot from the castle Koldinghus. I so love the bricks and stones :) _________________________________ Have a fine and stressless week.. I woke up to freezing fog, this morning. It is still there, but I think it will disappear during the day. _________________________________ Thank you so much for viewing and commenting on my previous post and special warm thanks go to those, who added it to their favorites. :)

Some decades ago I visited Castle Koldinghus alone, on a rainy day, and was the only one (except for an elderly watchman) in the huge structure. Marvelous medieval atmosphere that almost transported one back in time. But the dungeon, for some reason, really freaked me out ... I left it, running!

We are covered in dense fog here too. It will be with us until nearly noon. Love those stones too. I guess you had to pick up your feet when you walked around or else you might trip. Outstanding shot.

WOW! WOW! OOOOOooooh! I love the stones in this. The colors are amazing. It's funny: some of them make me think of jelly beans. I don't know why, I think it is their shape, almost as if they are jelly beans that got hot so they melted just a little bit and took new shapes. The colors are so warm and so comfortable for me, and I love the textures and the way there are stones, bricks of different sizes, and still different types of stones. This is really marvelous!

Almost all look to be river rock...or maybe east coast North Sea (or is it Baltic Sea) rock...I remember how rocky those beaches were when we visited years ago. Love the photo.
