Description

Here is a new painting done during the last week too. Maybe it needs a bit finnish here and there, but in all I am satisfied with it. I will bring it to my Pro Painter friend next monday, together with the other WIP and see if there can be done something more to them. Hope you like this one. Acrylic on 400 X 600 mm Canvas. Same as the WIP the other day. __________________________________ Have a beautiful day. We have foggy and grey, but peaceful weather this morning. We are going to buy a b-day present to my hubby. A new TV. :-) __________________________________ And the usual. Thank you so much for viewing and commenting on my previous post and special warm thanks to those, who added it to their favorites. :)

Okay, Helle! LOL! This is SO good ... now I'll never paint again! You will only laugh at my poor results, when compared to this. Such beautiful light, and depth, and such a lovely view ... it's stunning! You know how much I love it when you paint, and this is why. Wonderful work!

What I like about painting is the fact that it is NOT photography, and you can see brushstrokes and canvas patterns. There is something special about that for me. I think it allows me to imagine a real human being making the painting: standing or sitting with paint and brushes, and maybe coffee (cold, if she wants thin thighs.) The strokes and the dabs tell as much of a story as the image itself. And what an image this is. I really like it. I see it as finished, but you can always add a bird or two flying in the distance, or maybe little dabs of colors like little wildflowers growing. But that's just me...I always see a painting and want to add something to it, even if it's just a little bench biter in the corner, smiling at the viewer. Hmmm...that might not be a good idea after all, it would change the beauty of this painting. This is really super! I love seeing your paintings as well as your other work. I don't know how I missed this one, but I am happy to see it now, and yeah, ZOOM is a must for the details.
