Description

Down at our local beach one day, there was a guy with a nice camera wading around in the water. I got such a kick out of it that I just had to take his picture! He saw me pointing the camera in his direction and apologised for getting in the way of my shot. LOL! Of course he WAS my shot! :P He was out looking for ducks, and was wading around in the surf (if you can call it that) in order to get closer. My little Canon has a nice telephoto, so I took a couple pictures of the ducks he was interested in so you could see what he was up to. Charming young man, down there with his daughter, his camera and his waders. Turns out he's totally obsessed with taking pictures of birds. He can't imagine anything else. Literally. He watched me taking pictures for a while, and then had to see in my viewfinder what I'd been doing. If it wasn't a duck, he wasn't pointing the camera at it! I hope he got the shots he wanted. Apparently the waders were just until he can afford a longer lens.
