Description

*Zoomers get better views!* This one is for someone who is a very good friend to the community. Allesimarco has been commenting on my pictures since the start and is such a sweet and good friend to the community and a great artist. He had a triad picture not too long ago and when I was doing this one I thought of him. This is a Dark Elf lord (not Drow, there are several takes on Dark Elves) and his pets, a half elven warrior and a elven sorceress. He looks like he has them in hand, but then again you never know, they could have him wrapped around their fingers. :) Used PixieLuna's - Jenny's poses from Move Posters and Beyond 2. This one was really perfect, and I didn't change it except to turn the elf's arm/hand for the fire and bring the elf's hand around her hip a little when I scaled him up a touch (he was rather short compared) Dark Elf is a new character at RDNA, Morven by Muted Banshee. She has some very different M4 guys based around ethnic faces and the creature morphs. Surreality textures on both females, and to be honest I played with them so much getting their faces right I don't remember what I started with on them. The fire in the sorceress hand is post worked in by me.. and the lady on the left got a little touch up on her hair, but that's about it for postwork on this one. I was really experimenting with the lights on this one, and I hope it looks okay. Thank you guys for your comments and criticism, I love hearing the feedback so much! This is quite a jaw-dropping image, Delaney and yes, I agree, Marco is one of those who will always support his fellow Artists, a very nice person too. An excellent atmosphere that blends perfectly with their pose and your lighting as well. WOW!

Yes, there are always at least two sides to any relationship story. I saw the promo for this guy too and had a look at her other characters. Quite unique.. I was tempted. Well what do I see here? I see that you planned this one out in advance as there is a blue point light coming from her left hand where the postwork flame is. And a second orange/yellow from the candles. Gotta be a filler in there too. So I think you got your main objective with lighting. There is a bright splash across the middle and a natural fade, especially towards the top. The characters look like they are posed for a portrait... a family portrait with a difference, but a family portrait none-the-less. This is a proud, even hauty group. The framing is richly dark to compliment the image. Perhaps a very thin pale key line around the image to seperate a bit from the frame would have popped it a bit but that is just me and overall it is a gorgeous effect.

stunning....I love the overall colour scheme and the lights you have chosen because of all of the triangles in this picture there is a great strength to the image I do feel however that the top left negative space is not quite right I can see what you have done an that the background nooks are nicely placed within the framing but what has happened is that you tend to see the candles on the left almost as prominently as the characters themselves, I want those to be secondary if the trio were sightly closer and a little more central your eye would catch their heads first as it reads this image.....now I am nitpicking here and this is a damn fine image great image well done Carl ps. and please let me know what that wild outfit is on the right hand girl...hot hot hot

~Well thank you Delaney! Let me say that you are a wonderful friend in this community too with your many thoughtful and helpful comments to other artists. I always look to your comments for an insightful critique. And I will say this too, I didn't look at ebots but was just scanning the gallery when your thumb caught my eye....I didn't even see the title...and even when I clicked on the image was so caught up in studying these three marvelous characters that I still didn't see the dedi...lol. When I finally drug my eyes from the image and started reading the text, it was a real nice surprise! :) I really like this type of scene with a kind of movie poster posing (kudos to pixeluna for that marvelous set). Each of them in their own way reach out and grab you! This is a bit more than I usually put in a comment, but it wouldn't be a ~Marco~ comment if I didn't add...fantastic characters and marvelous light! Well done!~ ~Marco~

Another wonderful render!! Hmm...I think that we're looking at a powerful trio who work well together. Powerful and very proud also. I love the armor on the dark lord and also the 'girls'...that is one wild top the half-elf warrior on the left is wearing! And love her hair!

Once again, you have created a masterpiece, Delaney! I'd say it was well beyond 'okay' my friend! You've done a magnificent job with this one, as you always do.
