Description

it feels like spring is already around the corner.. but as you can see, there is still a thin layer of ice on the canals.. it is fresh.. one night ice after a very warm January. Time flies so hard ! Soon the boats will go again.

This used to be a docking place for large boats in 1870-1968.. The one in front for militairy ships, the two in the distance for cargo. Reminders of a forgotten past. -=-

Love this capture! Lots to take in, The light seems great. Suggestion: take the same shot this year in Summer, Fall, and Winter. I'm betting it WOULD make a nice photo series!
