Description
Raising a puppy is a full time job, although it's a pretty rewarding one :)
This pic was taken the same day as the last pic in my gallery, I've had little time to do much of anything except take care of Darla and occasionally poke around on the forums a little bit. She's now pretty completely housebroken, has had all her vaccinations, behaves really well on a leash, and can do a few tricks - she still play-bites a bit but I'm working on that. I'm going to let her hair grow out again, her full coat is very long and silky like a Yorkshire or Silky Terrier's.
According to the vet we visited yesterday, she's in VERY good basic health, and does not have the type of birth defects that a lot of small terriers are prone to (luxated patella, hip dysplasia). She put on a half a pound (9.5 pounds now). I have an appointment to get her spayed through a local low-cost program (SNAP) and will just have to keep a close eye on her until that is done - I'm pretty sure she's not gone into heat yet because she's too young but we met a little male chihuaua today while out walking and he was pretty interested in her :)
Snapped with the same crappy Kodak EasyShare camera (I really dislike flash cameras but that's what I have to work with).
