Description
My most complex ever CGI model, based on a whole mass of photos I took of the real thing. The model was made in Lightwave, and this render was done with the model imported to Vue.
This is the Mark I radio telescope at Jodrell Bank, with a proud history of discovery and tracking key probes from the early days of the space program.

Stunningly realistic. The wide-angle sunset silhouette is spectacular. Are you going to post some day-time renders? I hope so!

Steamzone - I certainly could do. It started as a labour of love, and took me about 6 months to model - in some areas it goes right down to the level of rivets! The staff there will be using a couple of renders in the new visitor centre when it opens, which was deeply satisfying. I've been away from Renderosity for a tyear or so, and I have a backlog of material to post.
