Description
done with Octane HDR lighting render. The render took about an hour and a half. The Kaol model is excellent and I am tempted to buy other product. Here is an up close pov.
I recently spent 20 dollars on castle models and compared to this, they were horrible!! So anyway, money on Kaol was well spent in my mind. If I can wrap my mind around blender, I'll be able to add light blocking objects and light surfaces and emitters that can add lighting flexibility. And like I mentioned in the last post, it is awesome that Octane can now produce alpha channel output, so that I can drop images on others and do easy image blending.
Oh yeah, almost forgot to add. The lighting and rendering concept in Octane is camera oriented. You assign focal spot and iso and fstop and exposure and all that stuff that I don't understand!

that deck is too shiny. I roughed it up, but not enough!. About people, you guys are right. My current problem with people is that when I use Vicky, she ends up naked and it becomes a naked picture, so I end up mostly not being a very good people person. But seriously, your points are well taken and on target. People and what they do make the images personal and real. Slightly off topic, I wish I was retired so that I can do better justice to learning how to play with these new toys, but talking about new toys and people and what they wear -- I've been sorely tempted to check out and learn and buy Marvelous Designer 2. It looks like it is a modeling program dedicated to making clothes, including how clothes falls and interacts with gravity. A cloth simulator that produces 3d objects, and it is (for what it does) not very expensive... Like I said, too many toys, not enough time!!
