Description

River Maas, high water level on the 8th of Jan; Maastricht We just returned from 10 days wandering around in the area where the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium are coming together at the so called three country spot!! On the 8th 0f January 2011 the water level in the Dutch rivers coming from Belgium as well as from Germany had a rather high water level, and the alarm-bells want off!! View on the River Maas in Maastricht in the south of Holland at the end of the day. The bridge is the very old Saint Servaas bridge, build in the 13th century as an replacement for the old Roman bridge which broke down after a service live of approx. 1200 years!! Thanks for your time for viewing and your kind comments on my previous upload Henk
