Description

Greetings to One and All... Well....Where does one start when all you can see (If you can actually see outside)is a raging blizzard that when all said and done we here in Cheeseland will be digging out of 2 feet or more of snow...So far it's been reported that we already have recieved 12 inches and winds gusting to 55 mph(snow drifts in my back yard are exceeding 5 feet....I kid you not!)and that's just the snow out ahead of this monster storm that is just now beginning to arrive on my door step..Local time is(5:30 CDT)I have a weather radio active and running during storms like this simply because I'd rather be prepared not scared..lol...As of now we are under a Blizzard Warning until Wednesday at 6 pm local time..Snow totals will range for us around 25 to 30 inches depending how much the lake effect machine decides to add seperately from the actual storm.Thunder and lightning and bursts of 2 to 3 inches an hour are not out of the question when we get storms like this which have been scarce the past 10 years or so here..Guess it's time to make up for the years we have gone without...lol...So with all that said I went and dug out a scene from my winter humor file and thought it was an appropriate time to share with all of you some of the Wisconsin Winter Blues that usually follow such historic winter storms such as this one.I created this scene above from actual events that seem to happen without delay after every snow fall...You go outside ....grab a snow shovel...clear out your driveway...try not to have a heart attack ...you then finish...begin to admire your hard work and then WTF !!! Good Ole' Mr Plow Driver comes and shoves it all back plus what he brought with him from down the street...lol...Enough to make that little vein in your forehead wanna burst like an over filled water balloon...Then like magic..all these colorful metafores take place of the way you were raised and you go against all you know is right and begin to scream obsenities that would make a sailor blush...lol...I ask you....Now can anyone here relate ??...Of course exceptions will be allowed for those of you that live in a warm tropical climate and you may refrain from comment because all you would be doing is speculating what you think it would be like.....rofl....So anyway....Thought with all this winter weather raging around me that it was a perfect time to present this little winter humor for your viewing pleasure...I'm not expecting any groundhog to see his shadow because he'd have to dig throught 2 feet of(CENSORED)snow and quite frankly I don't think the little bugger is up to the task..besides it's going to take at least till June to melt all this Shhhhhhh.....errrr...Stuff!... You all be safe....take care and pray my roof can hold all the weight of this historic snow event we are currently under..See you next time!...Hopefully....lol.... -=Will=- Created in Bryce 7 with post work in Adobe Elements 8....

This is so beautiful a fantasy land, white carpet that mother nature throws at your feet and up to your neck to embrace your willing body and freeze your brain in it's crystallized dryness of freezing shit. Now that's poetry dude! A suggestion from one that has a lot of experience in this subject matter. Draw summer scenes at times like this it's good for your mental health and well being. Believe me I know ! George BTW; we are getting it tomorrow, but piece of cake I'm Canadian.

an image that sums up your words! Too much snow on the tpoit and trees can be a cause collapse of the roof, which is not desirable, but mostly ... the snow will melt and you will gboueuse streams of water, if you don ' point are affected by floods. Good luck my friend, because I really am powerless to help you!

A wonderful image you have created here and it looks very real too. I'm chuckling over your story too and I do hope that your roof holds up. I can just imagine how frustrating it must be to get all that snow delivered to your nicely shovelled driveway.
