Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

This looks like a blast! I had a youth full of this kind of stuff and several million found memories of same. And, if followed by a crash, would be pretty much a page out of my own life. LOL! Hope he wasn't hurt too bad. Whatever the case, I would imagine he climbed right back on again. Great action capture!

Cool image of the action, Marilyn. I'm too old to do this stuff anymore. I can see you were following your nephew with the camera in this shot.

WOW! This rocks. I really like the fact that you captured it so crisply and cleanly; in lesser hands, this would just be a photograph of a nephew-shaped blur with some colors in it. HERE it's a super action shot right in the middle. This rocks.
