Description
My 20 year old nephew was in his first motocross race Sunday. My sister has several new gray hairs on her head as well. He qualified for a big race in June, but not before crashing rather spectacularly!! He went over a jump, came off his bike and went down, hard. Fortunately, she didn't see it happen, but the friends who were with us did. I heard, "Sue, Scott just went down". Her face turned white and she took off like a shot. By the time she got there, he was up and ok. Bruised, scraped and shaken, but with a story to tell.

Well, as they say in the old movie westerns, "it's only a flesh wound, ma'am." And did Tara say she didn't give a shit about motorcross? That's not too nice. I would never use such language. That said, great pano action shot of the participants revving and roaring away from the starting line.

You have a real knack for this: a real eye, and I can almost smell the dust in the air and the tinge of adrenaline either from the participants or the spectators. This is really super!
