Description

This happen some weeks ago as one of the most favorite playground in town and one the lake front burn down to the ground. They did get a 17 year old in jail now for it. Surprise they printed his name in the paper. The fire man who takes photos was there at the same time as I was. I stay out of the police yellow tape.

A real shame that, they should make the perpetrator re-build it ! But, if I know kids, they will still play here...but, just they will be extra dirty ! Well done & ~Cheers~

We had a rash of playground burnings last year. 7 or 8 of them around town and one was hit twice. I don't understand why... Its like kicking a dead horse... it doesn't accomplish a thing. Wonderful shot that brings the devastation home.

This is so sad to see Jock, as a lot of kids who can't afford to do much probably counted on this playground. Now thanks to the selfish cry for attention from this boy everyone suffers.

Very sad to know that there are still those who know no better! Unfortunately, he will probably just get a light smack on the hands and told not to do that again. great capture

An excellent but sad capture, I'll never understand why someone feel the need to distory something that means so much to so many!

They say that arsonists have an illness, but I have no time for empathy with them.

Terrible shame Jocko and I can imagine the disappointment with the children who used it. I can also imagine the smell of burnt remains - I used to be a fireman. By the way a good shot.

Great capture but sad that this kind of things happen....I try to understand kids and youngsters doing this, partly because of my job with same...but whatever some reason, it seems always meaningless. I once found a broken bottle hidden in the sand at the bottom of a slide in a playground for kids! I removed it of course...insane!..:o[
