Description

Best viewed large. I photographed this outside St Patrick's Cathedral in Melbourne. In Christianity, the Crown of Thorns was woven of thorn branches and placed on Jesus Christ before his crucifixion.

great foto, it was made to mock him as " king of jews " with hindsight we can say he was/is as christianity grew to the largest religion on the planet. I wonder if the people who crucified him would have done the same if they had knew what they had started.
