Wow!! What a stunning photo! I love how you were able to capture the colors on the wings. These are such regal birds! I have seen them in the wild a few times and last year we had a chance to attend a seminar put on by our electric company in their educational room where they invited a man who was the first one to ever raise bald eagles in captivity. He works as a raptor rehabilitator in Massachusetts and one of the birds he brought was a female bald eagle. He stood telling us about eagles with her perched on his arm and this beautiful bird just sat there so calm, just looking around. It was awesome to see one of these birds only about three feet away!

there are many bald eagles around where I live but I never get these good of shots. I so need a better camera and probably a little more talent too. haha. great shot
