Description
Shot this yesterday not long after the shot I posted yesterday. The Blue Jay from yesterday was setting on the roof looking down on this feeder waiting for his turn to eat. This is a temporary feeder that I set up just to add a little more seed during the worst of the storms, it’s setting on my grill close to the shop wall so the wind doesn’t effect it quit as much as the ones on the feeder poll. There for the snow wasn’t as bad here, the Blue Jay’s seemed to like that as they took this feeder over quickly. I also throw seed out on top of the snow for the foraging bird. This feeder was a gift from Mother Nature last spring, after a bad storm I found this feeder in my yard, no one clamed it so I us it. You can see the Blue Jay turning his head to look into the top of the roof, the fill cover was the only thing I didn’t find so it stays open and the birds eat from it until the seed gets to low to reach. When I see them looking in it but not eating from it I know it’s time for me to fill it back up, as soon as I walk away there right back and enjoying a good meal.
