Description
After my yesterday landscape with Vue, I thought I might show you the real life picture I captured some time ago.
This is " Allée couverte ( dolmen with corridor)du Mougau" situated in Commana, Brittany ,France.
This monument is special as it has two engraved stones inside , one with breasts and the other one with an axe. Because of this , archeologists say it was a sanctuary, not a tomb.
What I like about that spot is the today house neiboring the 6000 years old monument.
Thank you for visiting , and please zoom in, it's better.
Thank you for your comments on my last picture" Familiar spot", friends.
Cheers
Odile

Oh, Brittany... I can tell you a funny story related to my stay in Brittany... I've had my first digital camera with me then, and I just couldn't stop taking pictures... there were amazing motifs and scenes just everywhere. Then we came to a shoreline, with the most marvelous cliffs, a scenery with hundreds fantastic views and angles, all as if they were taken from some Lord of the rings movies... and the memory card in my camera became full. I was devastated! I started to browse through all those fantastic captures, and I almost cried when I had to delete the worst of the best... :) After that I had to take just low definition pictures all the time, before I could buy a new memory card in the nearest town. It was the time before today's memory cards that are so huge that they are nearly infillable... I still feel sorry that I couldn't take all those amazing captures in high definition... Hugs, Vashek

that is such a cool photo, I also like the modern house next to an ancient monument. A wonderful old/new kind of piece, but more than that, to me it also shows that these ancient places aren't dead, but still speak to us from the past, even now.
