The turquoise earring, your sister gave it to me after you were gone.
I missed your soft darkbrown eyes,
I missed the little smile on the corner of your lips,
I missed the rides on your purring Harley.
Your hair will never turn grey
and I've grown old without you.
I've had a different life and don't wear the earring anymore, but it's still there, not far.
