Description

The Heidelberg Castle, seen from behind. The "Pulverturm" (powder tower) of the castle has been destroyed by French soldiers in 1693 in the Palatine war of succession. Apparently, too much gun powder has been stored there. Please zoom for details. Thanks for looking.
