Description


Again a shot from the Powder Tower, this time from a different perspective. You can see the blasted part better. Below on the right side a painting by Karl Blechen, painted in 1830. To the left a photo from me. The perspective on the two images is nearly identical. I did not know the painting, as I took the photo last year. I found it recently in Internet. Thanks for looking.

That you took the picture of the tower and from the same angle is proof as good as anything that art is universal and objective. The tower and its state cannot help but bring wonder and imagination to the ones who see it .
