Description


One of the particularly fascinating things I found was a group of icicles that hung down only a finger-length from a wall, so during a nice dark night I got in close and snapped this shot with only my flash for lighting. I may just have to go back and try some more like this. Thanks for taking a look everyone!

WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! You've really caught the textures perfectly here and I love the interesting patterns and visual excitement jiggling all around this shot. This is quite a seasonal marvel. There are times when I'd love to see icicles in summer (but not the temperatures that would support them) as greenery and summer life would look do interesting through "curtains" like this. Hmmm...there's an idea...more on that later! Back to this shot. It's quite stunning, and in its way, otherworldly!
