Dear experimental,
Hi, it's your reflection. I just wanted to drop you a line because I get a little lonely sometimes. I spend my entire life waiting around the corner in shiny surfaces just waiting for you to appear. I love it when you look at me. Sometimes we can spend hours just staring at each other, thinking silly thoughts together, or making faces at each other. But lately I think we've grown apart. You only see me in the morning when we shave our faces and comb our hair, then you walk away like I'm nothing to you. The other night you stumbled into the bathroom drunk and looked at me like you were disgusted with me. Our hair was all a mess and we had food on our shirt. Remember when we vowed to take over the earth together, or when we mustered to courage to propose to the girl? Or how about in the hospital just after your kids were born? I miss those times. I just think we need to spend a little more time together.

Wonderful. I'm glad I'm not the only one with ongoing relationships with beings on the other side of mirror membranes! Wonderfully written and nicely poignant. This rocks.
