Description

Have you ever wondered why I stay out in the stix? Hint: Lions roaring, jackal calling and wind, rain and fire combined in the breeze.

Are you young enough to know this song I am listening to? "Sound of pulling heaven down" by Blue October:

You make the sound of pulling heaven down
You brought the rain's romantic pour
You make the sound
You make the sound
Of pulling heaven down

For those of you who wondered if I cheated... YES! I did, I used a lightning trigger and then made the 5 photo composite.

Never heard that song before, which isn't a surprise. That said, terrific image of the several lightning bolts crackling out there above the veldt, Piet. I could say shame on you for cheating in creating this image, but that would make me a hypocrite, because I do it all the time.

I don't think you cheated. You used something what makes your job easy. If I would live in the area where lots going on in the sky, I would have one too. Wonderful picture.

You are a MASTER with lightning shots; whether you have a trigger or not. Love the song, btw. Always will ♥ ♥ ♥

I've driven from Kansas City to my former home in Leavenworth on summer nights with this very same array. I've never heard of a lightening trigger before...fascinating.

Wow! Now that is something else! My eyes almost popped out of my head when I opened this :) Fantastic capture.... this is truly phenomenal the way you mastered this... and so be it, even with a lightning trigger :) A mesmerizing mood, to say the least! It's almost as if now we wait... for something to come out from within those shadows and darkness....
