Description

This was painful for me to watch! As this heron flew off into the distance I could only hope he would be ok. I wanted to joke that he was off to a snowball fight but it really didn't seem like a joking matter. The temps were hovering around +/- 0 degrees and I can't imagine what the river effect was. Anyway, I had a great time on this trip to Illinois with Digitaleagle, looking for eagles... we found some if those, too! Thank y'all for stoppin' by! Manning

Something you don't see here every day, an ice foot Heron I hear they are very rear, LOL. Like you I do hope he's ok and I still wonder how this happened, poor guy.
