Description

This little fellow stationed himself on the highest point of the meerkat enclosure at the San Diego Zoo. He was a bundle of energy - looking one way, then another, looking up and looking down - he definitely took his job seriously. Enjoy

Outstanding photo as always. Do you still use 35mm or are you useing digital. I started out in photography but after looseing all my equipment I moved to 3D graphics; would love to get my hands on an old Nikon FM and pick it back up again myself Bravo to ya for this one

Who needs television or cinemas when you have meerkats...I mean, these little bundles of energy are endlessly amusing to watch. They're always so busy, even when they're not doing anything they're busy at it. They're so incredibly cute too. I could spend whole days just watching one troupe of these little people, and I'd spend weeks more if they happened to live not far from ringtailed lemurs. What a shot. I really like this immensely.
