Last year I started my third period of photography after fifteen years silence.I began in the analog eighties and took primarily slides with my Pentax MX until it broke. Then, in the early nineties, I started digital photography with a very simple Logitech Fotoman. It was easy to operate because the camera didn't have any features except a flash! The surprise came ofcourse when I first downloaded pictures on my computer. The ease of working digitally convinced me. Still, after a few years, my interest declined.Until last year when I took a chance to work with a compactcamera, seeing other peoples work. In the end I bought a new camera myself. Eversince I can't imagine living without a camera.

inderdaad een heel bijzondere camerapositie... het geeft een heel vervreemdend effect ( daar hou ik wel van !)

Most definitely, I can relate to this image. The bridge is quite intriguing in it's geometric design, with a radiant energy. The geometry has its own language, which is known to those who find it fascinating. Every time one looks at this beauty, there is something new to see, not being exactly visible at prior glance. What I see here, touches my heart and imagination. It is no wonder that you wish to make a statement, and express your vision of creativity and design. This is indeed one of the best ways to create an image, which you have most certainly succeeded and exceeded in doing, with marvellous perfection and precision. The multiple lines in your masterful composition take one on a journey to a presumably predictable at first, yet unknown destination point, and this is the part of your photograph which I like so very much... not to mention a perfect sky!
