Last year I started my third period of photography after fifteen years silence.I began in the analog eighties and took primarily slides with my Pentax MX until it broke. Then, in the early nineties, I started digital photography with a very simple Logitech Fotoman. It was easy to operate because the camera didn't have any features except a flash! The surprise came ofcourse when I first downloaded pictures on my computer. The ease of working digitally convinced me. Still, after a few years, my interest declined.Until last year when I took a chance to work with a compactcamera, seeing other peoples work. In the end I bought a new camera myself. Eversince I can't imagine living without a camera.

Great tight DOF on this, really brings out the shine and beauty of the stainless steel mesh. Excellent capture! :)

Dit is ook weer een hele mooie zeg.. met name die vervorming van het licht in de onscherpe delen van de foto.

A very appealing structure, Onno! Both to the eyes and the imagination! Fascinating how this structure interlocks and glistens so beautifully, particularly from this gorgeous perspective! You have a very special way of working with reflections and the DOF is sensational here! Well done, a most captivating sight and feel!

A great series, all seven pics. They guide us into another world, in the world of small things, of rules and mathematics. And into a world of strange beauty, too. Great work, thanks for sharing!
