Description

"Long sailed the crew of the Quest, often times drifting into the Wave Clouds of the sea goddess Trayl, during the dark of night, pulled up on shore, or in a sheltered cove. Their quest waited until they could find Trayl's errant daughter, Choagh the Lucky. Then one sunny day one of the Wave Clouds descended on their galley, and they experienced that awful wrench that often left them nauseous and helpless. On this occasion they were transported almost to the jagged shore of the Dal Striata Isles, slowly sailing out of the clouds and dark smoke mist. What would await them this time? What labours and risky efforts would challenge them, or wear them down again, like grain in a maidservant's quern?" Perils of the Isles, A Compendium of Early Tales - Taiylre MacDunaddh, Eduinsburgh Press Another VUE scene, in the prequel to the Dalriada Chronicles, utilising a modified River Village atmosphere, and models from the Cornucopia 3D Store, including Quadspinner's / Dax Pandhi's superb procedural terrain, Terra Incognita. The tale progresses, almost as if tacking at sea, even though that might be thought out of place in this early age .. ;o) Life has involved a lot of tacking recently, with mini-catastrophes changing overnight into unlooked for opportunities. With faith and hindsight, it does always seem that God does make all things turn, eventually, to His providential plan, for the good of each and every one of us. Be well, and may good wishes, prayers and unlooked for graces inundate your lives this week, floating your lives out of the ordinary as they are surely meant to be raised up ... ;o), John
