Description

"As the smoke-mist disappeared, time started again, for the questers. The sun seemed to jump away from the ship, as if frightened at their strange entrance into the seas next to the Dal Striata Isles. All eyes were locked ahead, sailors stumbling to their posts, and anxious eyes scanned the sea for hidden rocks and their foamy masks. In the stern, young Telemachai, shook his head to clear it, and swiftly grabbed hold of the rudder. Just for a moment he could have sworn that he saw a ship rounding the point behind them, but when he looked again, it was not there. Little did he know that they would all see it again ... soon." Perils of the Isles, A Compendium of Early Tales - Taiylre MacDunaddh, Eduinsburgh Press This render was made before the last posted one, but made more sense, in the plot to follow it. The terrain is one of Dax Pandhi's from his QuadSpinner series on sale in Cornucopia 3D store. This view does not hide it in the smoke. Fitting such a terrain into the Dalriata mythos, was easy, with the name Dal Striata being a natural .. ;o) This week was like an episode of the classic A Team television series, from the late 1980s. Quite a few things seemed to go went wrong, but, in the end, came out right. I do have to say that I do like it " ... when a plan comes together... ", even though I know that it was God's doing, and not mine .. ;o) Have a great weekend, viewers. We have seen the sun, today, in Glasgow, and yes, it was, until it started raining again, quite warm .. ;o) John.
