Description
Redone because I want to use it as a portfolio piece. Same image as before, but with fixes: displacement and specularity on the bricks, light-based AO, fresnel shader reflections, made the duct look less like a chrome pipe, and made the loose sweater fit her more realistically. Didn't update the figure with my friend's actual proportions because it would alter the pose too much.
Poser Pro, some post-work in Photoshop.

Lighting is awesome, it really brings out the environment and makes it photo-real. I actually read the title as chiaroscuro before realizing the pun :) And the Diamanda Galas poster is a nice touch!

wow. your changes really helped balance the piece. it feels much more controlled and deliberate now. i think you're to the point where the (very small) improvements need to be in postwork, like the black marks on the bricks, her leg/hip join in this position (an eternal Poser problem), and making her hair a wee bit more natural (an even more eternal Poser problem). excellent work!
