I believe this is a Female Brown Headed Cowbird caught her as she was coming in for a landing. Just another shot form the backyard bird watch, the blackbirds have just about taken over the feeders this year keeping the song birds away. I’ve worked for over a month to run them off with some success but not complete success, and it doesn’t take many of these aggressive birds to run the desired birds off. I’ve used feed they don’t like feeders they have trouble getting on and noise, the only thing that’s lift is take down the feeders, not ready to do that yet but I’m close. As much as I don’t like them I have to give credit where credit is due they are smart and adapt very well to the conditions. Ok it’s time to go back out and make some noise!
