Description
*Zoom - magic!*
This one has been a while coming - promised a friend of mine to do this some time ago, but then had to think about how I was going to present it. He plays an elven druid, cursed by being a werewolf.. he wanted all 3 forms in the picture. I played with several ideas and finally hit on this one. I knew I wanted it to be nighttime with snow and a dramatic moon.
The ruins, Woodgod are from Daz, character is by muted Banshee at RDNA but I used Petra's Gabriel texture with the tattoos, Glowmoon - Daz, My own painting on the sky and mountains. Some free brushes for a couple of the trees. ChuckNepo and Jenny (pixieluna) for the beautiful sabre the Druid carries.
Comments and critique are appreciated.. doing a lot in this I've never done before.. ie.. mountains, snow. :)

OMG!!!! This is just freakin' phenominal, Delaney! You continue to outdo yourself with every new piece. Your friend will be totally blown away by this, as I am. And you hand painted those mountains????? My hat is truly off to you - they look perfect! I've tried - I can't paint mountains worth a dang (hence Bryce LOL). Your composition is right on, and the way you've blended everything together - just perfect! A galaxy's worth of stars from me!

If there were to be a modicum of judging justice at this site this image would easily be in the top 10 images this week as it truely matches the standards of any professional illustrator of book covers. Layout = superb. Render detail and lighting = superb. Framing and lettering = superb. Hand painting of mountains and moon ring = superb. Your work continues to grow with every endeavour.

Wow D, you are really making that new tablet sing. Mountains, snow, etc. are fantastic. The Lycanthrope against the over-sized moon is fabulously dramatic! Wonder if the composition wouldn't be even tighter if the wolf were move slightly up and towards the center--perhaps even overlapping the Druid Elf slightly? Anyway, once again you've done a wonderful job of blending Painter and Poser!

Wow Delaney! I love how you've painted the galaxy of stars and that moon, and where you placed his werewolf form. It's true, your painting does get more adept, and more ambitious with every new piece you post. Brilliant work on the stars and the mountain, and I think the best composition you could have chosen for what you were trying to achieve.
