This has to go to two people.. first Myc - Mycroft1 for the idea that we as artists should begin to speak out for peace. This is my first contribution to the cause. I hope to bring several more in coming months. I think if we begin here, then it could spread, perhaps across the net and many, many people will see it. Remember extraordinary changes have come in society from these little sparks that catch and ignite to bigger flames.
And then to Cecilia (Ssoffia) who is living in a situation I cannot truly imagine. My friend, I am sorry for comparing apples and oranges earlier, and I hope you know my heart breaks for you and the others in Mexico who are caught up in a war that they have no part in, and do not want. I truly hope that change comes and that God keeps you safe and your family as well!

Art is truly a universal language that can be appreciated and understood by people all over the planet. This website is living proof of that, and of the power art has. And this, dear Dear Delaney, is a magnificent tribute to the power of art! A superbly composed and executed work of art - you continue to amaze with your excellent work! I hope it does start a movement for peace in our time. It's always a sad and tragic situation when innocent people get caught in the middle of conflict caused by a few selfish, power-mongering and greedy individuals. It has been that way for melennia, and sadly, I don't think it will change soon. But you never know unless you try. My heart goes out to Cecilia and all the good people of Mexico and all the others in oppressed countries. 10,000 stars on this one!

An amazing job of transforming that prop from DM into something totally your own. The 1744 map with it's twin hemisphere's echoes -- or perhaps fulfills -- the complex circular motif you carried through the arches, stonework and emblems. This reminds me very much of a Victorian style tarot card. The old graphics and the slight greenish sepia tones add a perfect ambiance to this and gives it a real old world feel. Well done and cunning job of framing the image within the set.
