Description
Usually rescue would be a cause to break out the bubbly...unless your "rescuers" are not your friends...bang, pow (or should that have been POW?).
I found this Storch on Archive3d.net, and since I am a huge fan of "low and slow" flying thought I would do something with it. Unfortunately, the "found" craft and crew is once again Neiwil's B-24J. (You can pick this beauty up at Sharecg.com in pristine condition.)
Bits and pieces in Cinema4d (extender fuel tank and spinner. M3 pilot and observer with some bits from adh3d's USAAF pilot gear, Neiwil's B-24J assembled bit-by-bit in Poser, comp and render in Vue, and did the rest of the damage in Photoshop.

Not again !!!...I'm taking it back :-) Cool image mate, you do crash planes with style, love the furrows...that is a nice 'Storch' but I could never take to that paint job (picky I know). Have a good weekend mate.

Smashing render, love the colour palette that you used, nice camo scheme on the Storch.

Nice render! The storch had a problem with overheating and many missions were flown with the lower cowling removed.
