Description

One more shot from the backyard bird watch. This little Junco is one of the birds that migrate in for the winter. These guys are the main reason that I through seed on the ground, they prefer to forage for there food. They'll be here a few more weeks then back to there summer home. I always look forward to there return. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you care to leave, each are greatly appreciated! Thanks for the favs on my last post!

Great capture of one of these little guys. We have had TONS of them this year, more than usual and yes, they love scratching on the ground or snow for the seeds they love.

Cool shot of the little junco, contrasted against the mattress of snow. MrsRatbag posted a pic of an Oregon Junco just a few days ago.

Yes, we have many juncos here, mostly the Oregon ones, but several other varieties tend to mix in too. Excellent capture of this little guy with the cold feet!
