Wark!
That means hi. ;) I'm a fan of anime and video games (JRPGs are my favorite). I first learned about poser a few years ago when someone on a now vapor-mmo forum told me about renderosity. Then a few years ago I got poser 7 as a Christmas present and I've been doing 3d art ever since.Â
BTW, follow my occasional gems of wisdom on my blog Thus Spoketh Winterclaw.

They both look good and I agree, I don't know about Poser, but in DS you can reduce the level of specular

Great comparison--very artful as well as practical. Haven't worked with the VVS, but using Alice 4, Angel for V4, Vanilla Sky and even a couple of the Elite shaders -- it is possible to tweak these Specular hot spots both by reducing the amount of Specular Light in the scene as well as through shader nodes in the Materials Room. Still, this comparison makes a good case for taking a closer look at VVS. Thanks for sharing it!
