Description

Nothing quite says "Spring" like tulips and daffodils, even if they HAVE been postworked into oblivion! LOL! I love seeing people use bright colors in their art, but for some reason I shy away from it myself. I'm trying to become more comfortable with color. This is a small start! A single photograph, and a single layer. Hopefully I'll be able to choose strong colors when I'm working in 2-D, as well. With few exceptions I tend toward more subdued colors. Then I see something someone else has done with gorgeous colors (oh, ... Helle, for example) and I get inspired! THIS time I'm really gonna do it! LOL! See, if I tell you I'm going to be more bold, I'll have to follow through. :D

This is really beautiful... The depth that you got is really cool. I love it. I suffer the wish of needing more color too. It doesn't seem to come natural with a life in muted goo long dreary. Nope Spring is a sudden one here for a change.

Excellent, bold and colorful. This just screams SPRING. (As many of us probably are about now.) I tend to do a lot of dark, muted colors too, but my recent painting is bursting with color overload. It might be the start of a new series for me... Great image. Keep the color coming.

Often I look at my gallery and say, Wow, I need more color...nothing much here [my gallery] but muted blues, grays and browns. This is inspirational. Boldly done! More:)

This is just astounding! When I was working I used to talk to people about attracting attention to our products by telling them you had to grab them by the eyeballs. This is a brilliant example of that philosophy. The color range from hot to cool is perfect. This would make such a great lithograph. The more you look at it the better it gets.
