My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Rather sensual. Looks a bit like a woman's body. Superb detail and post work.

Interesting, my first thought was aurora borealis, or Northern Lights!

MARVELLOUS! I should not really enjoy looking at planes too often, but you have really made spectacular art from your outings!

What a great piece of view! I love the curve and the texture of the rivets...and of course your signature softening. Wonderful work!

Gold and silver! What amazing light and the flow is superb! My best friend at her best!!!

Ahhhh. I see big sections or whole things, you see individual panels, rivets and the gentlest of curves. Very complimentary styles. This is part of the right wing root as I recall:) Such neat postwork.

Oh, and pretty bits they are--what gorgeous light!!

Texture, light and form... Beautiful artwork, Tara.

Ah... riveted, with complex curves. All seem to be hand made with different kinds of hammers. And that's the modern MiG 29? Surprising. This doesn't show on Bill's photos. Amazing nice work with this close up. And the great lighting - blue sunlight and gold indoor ceiling lights making a rich image of an otherwise same color surface. The against the light camera angle really brings out the details and irregularities. Keep up the good work! :-)

Great texture...well done

Great piece of art

Amazing to think it's the same plane, the 'artistic' eye strikes again...you could put all these in an album, it would take the aviation world by storm....

Well, I wasn't quite sure what I'd see when I opened this up, but there it is.... curves and planes - or at least one plane! Definitely the artist's eye as neiwil said. You have such a unique ability to see stuff like this that most of us just walk right by, or fail to see even though it's right in front of us. Superb! That golden glow from below is just the cherry on top of the sundae!

A beautiful sexy part of the plane. A great capture.

Great job Tara! I would never think of something like this when I take a picture of an aircraft. You have a real knack for something like this!

Fantastic shot! First I wondered if it was a fractal Silver and gold in harmony.
