Description

Created back on 11/27/02, employing both Bryce and Poser. I wonder if I should have posted this under 3D modeling. Better viewed full size. This was done by reproducing the models from just one basic elephant and skeleton (or boneman, as jocko500 calls them), and manipulating them. Before I fell headlong into photography, beginning mid 2006, I spent most of my creative time, circa 2002 to 2006, doing Bryce and Poser. Now I feel that since others are posting stuff in fractal, 2D, 3D modeling, Bryce, Poser, Vue 4 D'esprit, etc., that I would deviate from photos and dig up some of my old stuff and pop it into my gallery from time to time. BTW, I posted this and other Bryce and Poser artwork on Renderosity several years ago under another user name. The rub is that even though I attracted tons of viewers, I received but a mere handful of comments, e.g., one or two per image. I hope to do better this time. And, since I've been away from Bryce and Poser for so many years, I would have to start from scratch in learning it again. Au revoir, thankx for clicking on, and for any and all favs and laudatory comments.

This is a wonderful scene with all these characters and your effects look great too. I love the expressions on the elephants too. I am sure you will get a lot of comments this time round, and I hope we see a lot more of this work, you have a wonderful talent.

I have no idea how all this works; but you've made a bunch of very real characters here, complete with skeletal riders. The elephants are particularly attractive, I'd like to have a few! Great work, Harry, you've a wealth of hidden talents!

I like this Harry! You still have it and you have all the shadows correctly on the correct side. Is that raptor back there responsible for the stampede? Dana

danapommet: No, the raptor didn't cause the stampede. I just stuck it in the image because I was being overly imaginative at that time.
