Description

He's running from something. Picked up the adh3d horse and Cavalry pack. It's a pretty nice set. I think the pants and boots are a little bulky, but it's ok. Everything was fairly easy to pose. The reins are a little tricky though. Did some post work in Photoshop (dust trails, grass, motion blur, mountains in background) Thanks for looking. As always, any comments and suggestions are very welcome. I'm guessing the next one is going to have Injun's .... As For this one the dust cloud behind both retreating horses is fantastic!...

Thanks for the comments! No Injuns because I don't have any. :) I should get some though. I'm just posting pieces of a larger scene that is still in progress. The dust clouds were a little difficult, but once I figured it out I was annoyed with myself for not figuring it out sooner. It took just one Photoshop brush. Thanks again.

This is a nice, dramatic scene. Good pose and EXCELLENT postwork on the dust and background. The background, though, could be a little bigger and you should consider editing out the central mesa -- the horses's tail kind of blends into it and you don't need it there to convey depth -- it just clutters up your "wide open spaces." BTW: I found this image from the gallery for the adh3dUScavalry Pack product page. I'm thinking of getting that product, but like you, I have a few concerns about the boots. Also, I'm currently using Apollo in a very limited capacity, so I'm not sure I would actually use this product very much. In fact, if it weren't for the inclusion of M4, it probably wouldn't be in my wishlist. But back to you. This is a very cool image. When I get a chance I'll poke around through the rest of your gallery and see what you've been up to. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Thanks for the feedback mmitchell_houston. Another thing about this set is the wrinkles. Most of the wrinkles you see were done in photoshop. Still a nice set, but I think it could have been better.
