I'm not sure what all to say about myself, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA) and work as a graphic designer/computer technician for a print shop. I have a BS in Historic Preservation, but wasn't willing to go on for a Master's Degree, nor was I interested in teaching, so I found another career. I discovered Bryce way back when version 1 came out, but I didn't really get serious about the program, or 3D art in general, until a few years ago. When I'm not in front of the computer, I'm either making costumes or wearing them to a renaissance festival, or building a new rock-sculpture, or possibly wandering with a camera.
When I'm not making something, odds are I'm reading from my far too wide range of interests: Astronomy, Cosmology, Physics, Archeology, Anthropology, History, Current Events, NASA (of course) and anything else that happens to catch my attention. It's really hard to find enough time to do all of the things I want to be doing! What drew me to Renderosity is the many excellent artists who continue to inspire me to push myself as an artist. More recently I've added a selection of stuff to another online gallery location:http://nefariousdro.deviantart.com/Â

If I were your next-door neighbor, I'd sit in my window and wait for you to come out and play. I'd be out there like a jack-in-the-box, popping up taking pictures all the time! LOL! This is too cool.

I love how these take on personalities. The textures are rather nice too...I can see so many planet texture potentials; that in and of itself is appealing. The POV is great, it makes these look positively enormous. Yeah, I like this!

oh fun. Great pov on these. Last September, we drove through Red Rock Canyon and all along the roadside were stacks of rocks... were you there? ;)

Mike, I think I've figured it out...... I think you're channeling those guys that used levitation to build Stonehenge, the Pyramids, and the statues on Easter Island. Or maybe it's just a touch of spring fever! :-D It was almost 70 here this afternoon - a perfect day for stacking rocks outside, but all I have at the moment are chunks of limestone, and there's not much challenge in stacking those. It's kinda like stacking bricks! Anyway - very cool shot

Love your balancing rocks. I'm way behind on looking and commenting on folks' postings. I may not comment on every one because my recent surgery limits my time at a computer, but I will definitely look at them and enjoy them and try to make a couple of comments.
