Description

I think we are all consumed by the enormity of the disaster that has hit Japan yesterday. I certainly am. Let us light a candle for those thousands of people who have lost their lives and for those of you who do pray - let us not forget them in our prayers. Hugs, Carin xx

Very nice photo. Thanks for bringing their need up. I wonder how we can help them. I doubt if many in Japan can see this, as much of the communication network is down (damaged, no electricity in many areas, clogged by overwhelming e-mailings, blogging, etc.)... I've been in small quakes, my mother was in the 1989 Loma Prieta quake in San Francisco, so I can imagine what it's like, but the scale in Japan is SO enormous one can scarcely comprehend it. I pray God to help the poor folks in Japan to recover their lives.

It's incomprehensible for us, to even grasp this dramatic turn-around of nature and we all had our fair share of destruction and sadness as well, but this must have been one of the worst ever in our history ... (I believe, that most of the mining around the world is totally greed-based and can be partially blamed for this disaster) I do feel very sorry for the Japanese people ... BB
