APO/3d hack Thank-you for browsing. Any and all comments are greatly appreciated. Is it possible that a mess above us could cause such turmoil down here??

Excellent image Glenda, I love the depth you achieved with this posting. Today's turmoil may or maynot have anything todo with galactic forces, but if you follow the history of earth, there have been meterorite showers that caused mass extinction on earth before. So it is not impossible for things happening many miles above us to affect us. I think the recent earthquakes that have caused so much devastation are however are much more to do with the earth undergoing tectonic plate shifting than anything to do with celestial forces. A few thousand years ago the shape of continents was totally unrecognizable from how they are now. The Pacific Rim consists of a "Ring of Fire" and that is constantly changing. None of this reasoning helps to ease the pain being felt by the people caught in such devastation, losing loved ones, homes and everything else, but it is perhaps more understandable when there is at least a reason rather than believing it is some angry god punishing people for some percieved sin.

Well yes it can. Every Star and planetary body in space has a gravitational field that can affect us. :) Fantastic work on this.

Absolutely, if large enough and near enough to have an effect on Gravity and the Magnetic lines of Flux all hell could break loose. Our unstable Planet is constantly shifting and changing on its own, add external forces such as a Rogue Asteroid and Oops, didn't see that coming. Splendid Apo work Peace

A very intriguing question Glenda. And the obverse question is also worthy of interest: Is it possible that all of the turmoil down here could cause such a mess above? I raise this point because your rendering reminds me of the Renaissance view of the universe as consisting of spheres within spheres. In this view, everything affected everything else. Interestingly, although the language has changed, the principle still remains the same in a 'modern' disguise. To me, your image reflects this. "As above, so below." Excellent work!

I think it can, yes. Stan makes a lot of sense (as usual) with his response. Fantastic fractal! Corrie

Glenda wrote:"Is it possible that a mess above us could cause such turmoil down here"?? No dear, with this elegance and superb colors, made by you in this lovely way, is the answer in this case: "definitely not, my friend"! ;)
