Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!
This is the second cover I did for my novella Luck o' the Irish. The first was a very well designed piece using a stock photo of a gold watch -- and since a gold watch features prominently in the story, that seemed like a good idea.
Only trouble was, it didn't really convey what the story was about.
This cover, on the other hand, shows my hero jumping out of an exploding plane with a backpack. _That's_ more like what you find in the story.
I had a hard time figuring out what category to put this in. I finally settled on "fantasy," because though it's an action story with plenty of humor and sex, it does have fantasy elements -- and none of the other categories seemed to fit. I thought about "faeries," but there are no leprechauns in the actual story -- though the do figure into the plot.
