Description
Some years ago I was informed that all the greatest pictures in the world were composed in such a way that one could 'read' them from left to right, and slightly uphill. I have tried to stick to this formula in my compositions and the above bears this out. The guy nearest to you is called Larry (known as 'Late-again Larry to all his mates. They swear he'd be late for his own funeral!) Getting an impression of height is always difficult, so I made this lot fly over something simple yet far below, to try to get the effect. Maybe I succeeded, maybe not, but it was fun trying....!

Awesome render!

I dunno. That sounds like a dangerous generalization to me. For example, Da Vinci's Mona Lisa. However, it is a powerful POV especially for combat renders. Nicely accomplished!

It's always a good sign though if you're late for own funeral! (I plan to miss mine). Perception of distance is in the viewers mind, just look at the maneuvers the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds, from the audience side they are dangerously close yet from a perpendicular view it's far differant. I hadn't heard that "art read". before. Have to see if my stuff is correct. Nice job here BTW.
