Description

I was thinking about my kids when I made this photo while sipping my morning coffee on the first day of spring. It's been a hard winter everywhere except here in sunny Florida so I thought I would send them a little sunshine in case spring is a little late in arriving.

Very nice - it must be very enjoyable to sip your coffee in a place like this.

Hmmm...the first day of Spring was gray and kinda grotty in Chicago; this is a lot better--and warmer too. And this is a great first post, hopefully the first of many more to come. I love the colors in this, and the visual sense of warmth...it's kinda hard to actually "feel" warmth when it's just a picture smeared elegantly across a computer screen, but hey, I can imagine it. I love the light and the colors. It's great to see you posting here, especially with as fine a first post as this. I love your sense of color and your control of light in this shot! Yeah, this is a great one.
