You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Formidable idea's you have, and it's a superb photo manipulation. What's behind the web of others? What kind of 'thinking', and interpretation of...? ;D

What a wonderous web we weave...

A veritable web of intrigue BB.

Most of us are in cages of our own design. We have the key and can leave at any time. But the comfort of the cage is far less scary than what lies outside the door. Excellent photo and thoughts.

Mmm...very sillyfosical...er, DEEP...actually I think I just weaved a bit of web myself ! I'm reminded of the closing scene in the original "The Fly" movie with this crafty composition, kool words, thoughts and layering BB ! ~Cheers~

A super manipulation for a very thought provoking image. Marvellous creativity and imagination.

Outstanding image and very true words but please don't confuse me with Nietsche quotes. I'm just now learning how to hate my enemies.

Very fine original capture and post work! We are all part of our own webs we are weaving as well as others - the point is: Are we're entangled by our own will or not! People make ties to each other but it must not become stifling like a rope around ones neck! The problem is: you can't love without hate and the other way around. But you can learn to know your self better.... Rhanagaz

I'll leave you with my own favorite quote: "Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun." Ash in Army of Darkness. There's nothing Nietsche coudn't teach ye, 'bout the raisin' of the wrist, Socrates himself is permenantly pissed, I love the little bugger, he'll be missed! Monty Python, The Philosopher's Song

Oh, I love this! It certainly portrays your thoughts so perfectly. I'm sure that from now on when I'm in that frame of mind I will recall this scene. Very excellent art work.

Brit, as far as I am concerned, "There are times..." is an understatement)) You've succeeded in creating a graph of how it should look from a side! Great work

I have woven many world-wide-webs of intrigue in my mind, and it is rarely comfortable. More likely I feel guilty, apologize, get a blank look, followed by a "What are you talking about?" On a good day, I don't tell them. On a bad day, I try to explain. Trying to explain crazy thoughts that have multiplied unfettered by reasonable thinking, is a sure fire way of appearing terminally unhinged, or at best, a little odd. Wonderful image and words. The profile looks young and uncertain as it stares out forlornly through an imperfect web. Excellent manipulation and thought provoking image and words.
