Description

I've been practicing away and have managed to put together my first functional, whole-body figure! Pretty simplistic, I know, but I'm getting there... I had a big breakthrough. I wondered why Anime Studio characters never looked quite right. Let's say that any given body part could have "ball joints" or... "rubber joints." (My terms, but you can guess what they mean.) Most content I've seen out there tries to make the elbows and knees rubber joints, but I discovered they work much better as ball joints. Big improvement! I'm still struggling with the head and neck area, though. The head essentially HAS to have a ball joint (unless they have a soft skull), and I'm wondering if the neck needs to be flexible at all. Until I figure it out, expect some concealing hairstyles! So, I'm still learning. Maybe I'll try a front view next.
