Description

Yesterday, for most of the afternoon and all evening, not even riuscitoa upload a photo from the site, I did not come to the gallery was open, and often did not open its own site. This morning it was still rather slow. As promised, here is the first flower of Nashi, erupted today. The Nash, also known as pear-apple, is the name commonly given to the fruit of Pyrus pyrifolia, a plant of eastern origin in the family Rosaceae. Nashi From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. In the nineteenth century, during the Gold Rush-era, the Nashi, called "Chinese pear"then, was introduced to America by Chinese miners, What I began to cultivate a this species along the rivers of the Sierra Nevada. At the end of '900, and began cultivating the USA Also in Europe. The interest of producers and consumers, remarkable at first, and THEN been declining, and today is considered marginal cultivation and consumption is limited. Characteristics of the fruit The result, with peduncle along the United Nations, round and flat, like the one that Apple, while the pulp, with little or no acidity, is compact, crisp and juicy pears That a similarity (hence the name incorrect of 'pear-apple "). The flavor is sweet and fragrant with colors slightly alcoholic.
